MTV
Is a Music Television channel, an American network based in New York City with MTV sister channels all around the world. It was launched August 1, 1981 with the purpose of playing music videos guided by on-air hosts.
MTV had a profound impact on the music industry and popular culture, with the idea that music turns visual. A 3 min track turns into a 3 min video - a canvas were music artist can express there music in a into moving pictures entertainment. MTV is there performance stage.
It became a central location for music events for musicians and their fans.
